Haleiwa

We went to a Thai restaurant in Haleiwa before hitting the beach. I think Grace went through 4 pairs of Chopsticks...but hey, it kept her happy.

We spent a great day in Haleiwa, a cute little town on the north shore. Davie loves the water now. He kept standing on the board, trying to surf. He took a few spills, but was a good sport. We also saw some sea turtles. They are amazing creatures, and one of my favorite sights here in Hawaii. We are trying to get in as much beach time as we can before we take off. Maybe we will get sick of it? Probably not, but it is worth a try.

We've been back 6 months and still haven't made it to the North Shore! Gotta take advantage of it before you go, though.

Definitely worth the try. Of all the things you'll see here in the northeast you won't see that!

Heather, you look so good! Seriously cute! Looks like so much fun. When are you moving? We have some friends in our ward here that are moving to New Haven to start an ER residency. I'll have to get you their contact info. They are such a great family. I'm sad they are leaving!

Grace is darling! When was David born? You guys have such a cute family! I'm excited for you to move up, although it sounds like Hawaii will be a hard place to leave.

Now that is one happy family! How sad that your idyllic time in Hawaii has to come to an end - what great memories your adorable family has made over the past year. Maybe we'll be able to visit once you move back on the mainland :)

I think we went to that same Thai place in Haleiwa two years ago. I'm glad to hear that it's still open :) We'll have to go when we're there in September.

Fun blog :)

(This is Jessie--I found you through the Yeates family)
