We were able to spend a wonderful Christmas in Kauai. Thank goodness Christmas fell on a Monday this year so that Dan had a long weekend. The island was beautiful and we had perfect weather. One of my favorite parts of the weekend was spending Christmas Eve on the beach looking at the stars. It made me realize how few stars we ever see in Honolulu. Grace was loving it and it felt so peaceful. As much as we missed our families, it was incredible to have this quite, contemplative Christmas Eve.
