Fall updates

Here are just a few pictures that I forgot to post earlier.

David proudly holding the pumpkin we grew in our garden.

Dan called it the "perfect pumpkin" because it was so round.

Here is why it was so round. It grew up on our fence and so it was hanging and not leaning against anything to distort it. I wasn't sure if it would hold up there or break because of the weight. Luckily it didn't get too big.

Here are the kids trick-or-treating in Cheshire with their friend Annie. She was a very cute Curious George. David caught right on to trick-or-treating, but he tuckered out early. He didn't give up though. After about six houses he started crawling on the ground saying "More Candy, More Candy!"

Here they are at our neighbors house. There aren't a lot of kid in our neighborhood so they got A LOT of candy at this house. Our neighbors are very sweet to the kids.

I'm positive they were the cutest trick or treaters in Connecticut! The pumpkin you grew is great, I bet the kids had fun watching it. Maybe if you plant more pumpkins next year they will overrun the poison ivy and Danny won't have to put his life at risk as much - just a thought. Luv ya.

Wow, that really is THE perfect pumpkin! I'm not sure I've ever seen such a perfect round shape. You should dry it or something. (Can you do that with pumpkins?):)

Your poor dad!!! Those pictures look awful. How is he healing? I heard your not coming to Utah for Christmas. Is that true? If so you'll be missed, but it also might be nice to have a christmas home with your family. I am just glad that I got to see you over the summer at least. I am still hoping to take you up on your offer for a visit! Maybe next year.
