Well, I can't figure out how to turn these photos and I don't feel like figuring it out right now, but I wanted to share some good news, sicnce our news of late has been depressing.
Gracie had her first day of school on Monday. Her preschool is 3 1/2 hours a day and she goes three days a week. I was worried about how she would do becuase I had to pack her off from a hotel room, but she did so well. She was so excited to pack a lunch and wear a bookbag. She looked so cute and gave me a kiss and ran off to play. When I picked her up she was playing with the other kids and laughing. What a relief!
Today was her second day and same thing. She went in so happily. Her teacher said to her, "My aren't you smiley!" Half the class was crying and I am just so thankful she wasn't. I don't think I could deal with that on top of everything else going on right now.
I have to admit it made me a bit tearful to tell her good-bye. Cliche I know, but I can't believe how big she is getting. I love it and hate it at the same time. She is getting so big and wise. She told me the day before she started school that, "When I go to school I am big, but when I come home I am still little." I told her of course, you are always my baby at home. So cute.

what a big girl...she is so cute! lewis still seems too little to be saying any of those things...which is why he won't be going to pre-school until next year..
Oh I MISS YOU!!! Heather seeing that picture of you and Grace brought tears to my eyes, I really miss you guys! And Gracie is so big! And I told you her hair would thicken! I showed Chloe the pictures and she says "Oh my Gracie, uh she went to school, I wanna go to school!" Too funny!

Hi! Can't wait for Connor to go to preschool...one where someone else is teaching him. Today I pulled out those three sesame street educational workbooks and he got so excited and started talking about Gracie. He knew that they were hers!
You totally nailed it when you said you love it and hate it at the same time...kids growing up, I mean. It's crazy! She looks so cute!
Yay for school! What a great time of life for her. I bet things are so exciting for her.

What an ordeal you are going through! I can't believe you are living out of a hotel. Probably not the smooth transition you were picturing in your head. Augh! We'll be thinking of you. Endure!
