Update

So, I haven't blogged in ages. With three under three (my new excuse!) it is hard to find the time. On top of all of that, I have been painting my kitchen, planting my garden, cleaning up our yard, etc. But more on all of that later. I was going through my pictures and realized there were so many I have never posted. As this post is also our family record of sorts, I wanted to get these up. So here goes:

This is a my little brother Matt at the airport on the way to his mission in Spain. He didn't get a visa for a few months and so served in Texas until his visa came through. When enroute from Texas to Spain he had an eight-hour layover in NYC. Seeing as we are so close to NYC I thought it would be a great time to visit him. So my mom called his mission president and he said it would be ok. So we all drove to the airport to meet up with Matt. I was worried that we would have a hard time finding him, but thanks to genetics, that turned out to be easy. Let me explain. I was searching for him in the baggage claim area and was worried that I had told him the wrong place. I went to talk to someone that worked their and explained that I was looking for my brother. She said, is he the guy over their who looks just like you? I looked, and there he was. I never thought we looked that much alike! It was so great to spend a few hours with him and we are so proud of him! It was great for the kids too. Grace keeps asking when do we get to visit Matt on his mission again?

When we went to Virginia we were able to meet up with my cousin Josh and his wife Sloane. They were so great. They helped us get discount tickets and we went to dinner with them. It was our first time meeting Sloane and we think she is fabulous. I always love to see family.

On that same trip we went to Atlantic City. It was a little chilly, but we had fun.

The kids had fun finding big seashells on the beach. The weather was freezing, as you can see, but David managaed to throw himself into the water anyway. That quickly ended our beachcombing.

We went to a museum detailing the history of Atlantic City. Outside the museum was Mr. Peanut. Grace thought that was pretty cool.
